The person who gave this place one star because of rubber in their food should’ve brought it to the attention of the store, but didn’t. I’m guessing it was fabricated. Clicking on this reviewer shows they are nothing but a complainer. Pretty much nothing but bad reviews for every business they go to. Reading the reviews, she had very good experiences (where were those reviews?) then had one bad experience and posted all about it. Take their review with a grain a of salt.

My wife and son brought me here for a Father’s Day treat, and it did not disappoint. Very fresh strawberry gelato and a strawberry mango smoothie for me put me on the streets of Italy in my mind. In speaking with the staff, the owner went to school in Italy to perfect this and it is definitely reflected. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Gelato and Cannoli’s need I say more. Located off Basswood this recently opened Italian owner. I have tried for years to have a cannoli close to those in the northeast. These shells meet and exceed the expectations. My wife loved her farmer and coffee gelato. But in a cold day you can also get a traditional espresso or americano or an affogato. The insides of the cannoli left some lacking felt needed to be a bit sweeter as a treat, and flavoring.

Unfortunately this place I cannot recommend. We tried it after it was suggested in a local group on facebook. We ordered 3 large cannolis, 2 out of 3 contained large pieces of rubber in the filling seen in the photos. I would never try to bring down a local business, but this is unacceptable. I will also say as nice as the owners were, we ordered 3 cannolis and it took over 15 minutes with both of them in the back of the store for them to be “filled”. Again, if not for the rubber I wouldn’t have said a word. Local businesses are important and loved but foreign objects in food is not okay.

The one thing that's most important to note, please pay attention when ordering with a card at the tip amount. We spent 8 dollars on two little cups and the 15% tip suggested a 10 dollar tip, as 20% and 25% were even higher. Luckily I always double check the suggested tip amounts at places.

Wanted to love it but we were not very impressed. I tried all the flavors pretty much and felt bad that I didn't really like any of them, so ordered a watermelon one anyways, which went in the trash. They all had a weird taste, maybe there's some sort of powder being used to help flavor? My husband thought his peach flavored one was good.

Wife, the kids, & I tried this place for dessert tonight, it was good. Wife had the lemon, too sour for my taste but she liked it. Oldest had the orange, he definitely enjoyed it. Youngest had the chocolate, it was all gone. I had the chocolate too. It was ok. The gentleman who served us was very sweet, extremely helpful, gave us plenty of samples.

One of the kindest couples I know. The gelato and granitas are all made fresh and are delicious. Lots of coloring books for kids and even a TV where they can watch dvds like bluey. Very fun place.

Very cute place, the Gelato was amazing taste like the Gelato in New York. I had the milk chocolate flavor, they also have cannolis. This place has been open for 6 weeks.
