I've driven past here so many times thinking.... we should stop and try this sometime. So we finally did and it wasn't a let down.

I'll be it, my expectations are set quite high so I'm not gonna say anything wild like "this is the best sandwich I've ever had", simply because it isn't. But it was very good!!! The pastrami was on point because there's a lot of places that lack good pastrami. The sandwich had great flavor and the bread was just right.

The cannoli was as expected, which I've never had one that wow'd me.

The price is definitely up there. Nearly 20 dollars for a sandwich but you have to remember this isn't some fast food joint that mass produces garbage. Plus the staff here is much more personable and friendly than some places.

In the end I'd recommend stopping in to grab a bite if you're in the area, I don't think you will regret it.

This place is insanely underrated and the most hidden of gems in Fort Collins that I’ve found. I had the porchetta sandwich which was recommended by the chef. It was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. Literally. I can’t wait to come back and try everything else they make. It’s a little pricey, so be prepared for that. But unlike many other pricey lunch options in Fort Collins, this place is actually 100% worth it.

I drove by this place and was like wow I can’t believe I’ve ever noticed it before. Quick Google and saw the menu had a Chicago Italian beef. I had to go! That’s something I miss from Chicago and Denver has a good spots. But I didn’t think Fort Collins wouldn’t have a decent let alone SPECTACULAR beef. Wow was that delicious. The meat was wet, the bread was perfect, the cheese and Giardiniera was spot on too. Pretty sure made in house because of the flavor those had. The staff were super friendly and chill. Let me taste all the gelato I wanted while I waited for my food, which wow, authentic doesn’t even come close. So good!!! She also recommended the meatballs as a little addition since it was my first time in. Holy moly was that a good suggestion. The meatballs and sauce were so tasty and rich in flavor. I will be back for sure to try whatever else they got going on in that kitchen! A Fort Collins gem for sure!

This was a fun little stop outside of the large city park in Fort Collins. If you're not that hungry, you might want to share a sandwich with someone since they're huge and really good. I also recommend getting the random Gelato flavor since you really can't go wrong. There is only outside seating so it's a great to-go place (take your for to the park and eat there).

I really really really wanted to love this place. I have been driving by for 4 years and just stopped in for the first time. I was the only customer and told the person who took my order it was my first time time in. she was very kind and told me my order would be ready in about 10 minutes and she would bring it to me outside (no inside seating. 90 degrees outside and smokey with the Anderson fire nearby. I waited outside for about 25 minutes enjoying the gelato and got hot so went inside to cool off and check out the deli and Italian wares. was not acknowledged so mentioned to the counter person, 'are we getting close? it's been over 20 minutes.' she apologized and got my baked rigatoni out of the warmer saying she thought I already had received it.
what I got was barely baked rigatoni overcome with ricotta and tinged with red sauce. really not even edible based on my expectations. the menu states something along the lines of 'tossed in ricotta and served in a pool of red sauce'.
I don't usually write less than positive reviews but this comes from a place of love for food and being tired of spending money ($30 for lunch) on sub-standard fare.
I will go back but not for pasta. the pistachio gelato was delicious!

p. s. the cursing in the kitchen was very entertaining but probably not appropriate

I grew up in an area with huge Italian immigrant influence. Moving south and then west I have always struggled to find Italian food that isn't coming from cans or over doctored up with ingredients that make no sense. It has been tough finding Italian food that tastes like someone made it from scratch. Gelato and Amore does a pretty great job. The bread is kinda the same as any decent bread in town. It's almost there.
The Gelato though. It is possibly the best Gelato I have ever had in my life. It is incredible. The flavor selection is unbeatable.

Their food menu is takeout only but they do have cafe seating outside where you can enjoy a meal after an afternoon of golf or swimming at city park.

Great for a dessert on a hot day. Great for a treat for the kids or a loved one. If you haven't been you need to go!

Revathy

A very underrated place in Fort Collins. I have never had pasta as soft and fresh as it is served here. I could just eat their boiled pasta as such. The gelatos were amazing! The flavours change everyday. Thus far, here are my must try suggestions (in order) - walnut fig, butter pecan, pistachio, ricotta stracciatella, Irish cream, hazelnut and chocolate. They have pasta, pizza, burger, grab and go pasta salads, canoli and a few other desserts. You have vegan and vegetarian options here.

I will not go there again. I ordered the eggplant parmesian dinner for takeout. When I got home and opened the dinner, there were 2 pounds of pasta, one tiny piece of eggplant (that was hard and chewy), and sauce on one half of the pasta. Literally For $16.00!!! Very disappointed.
