It was our first time at Rione XIII and we can’t wait to come back! The staff was welcoming, friendly and went the extra mile to make my birthday dinner special. My husband and I love the Trastevere neighborhood and were so excited to try this food. It absolutely did not disappoint! Make sure you order the focaccia, fried artichokes and cacio e pepe. Everything was phenomenal and we’re already looking into flights back to Seattle just to have Rione XIII again!

The best food ever!!!! This is my new favorite place and now come all the time. The pasta is fresh and has locally sourced ingredients. The focaccia was sooo good!!!! My favorite is the focaccia. It was my birthday once and i got a birthday candle!!! The workers are so nice and kid friendly!!!

My friends and I booked a reservation for NYE. Originally it was just the two of us but they allowed a third person (last minute and went the extra mile to get us a better table). The food was incredible and so were the drinks. It was a 4-course meal - from appetizers to dessert, we were very impressed. The ambiance was lovely. The service was by far the best - our waiter (i believe his name is Michael? Jared? - tall gentleman with brown hair and a beard) was so sweet and funny. On a holiday especially, you don’t expect to receive this type of service. We will definetly be coming back!

Pretty much everything this place has is spicy, and I can't eat spicy food. I was not expecting that at an Italian type restaurant. I wound up ordering pizza. It would have been a lot better if it didn't have so much charring. Our waiter was fantastic though. He did his best to help me find something that wasn't spicy, was very friendly, and knew the menu up and down. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating as well.

Excellent food and servers who seem to genuinely enjoy their work. Loved the 'people watcher's window' and the Cabernet Sauvignon we had was dangerously good! We were almost through the whole bottle before dinner ?
I also finally got to try genuine Affogato
Definitely want to come back when I have a better appetite

Great spot for dinner. Went on a date here and we both enjoyed it. We ordered the Bucatini all'Amatriciana, Carbonara, Pappardelle, Steak, Chicken and the Funghi pizza with sausage added. I was really looking forward to the Carbonara since I love that dish so much. It was pretty average. The other food was very good. The steak was cooked perfectly. The chicken was full of flavor and was succulent! I felt the steak was expensive for what we got.

The service was good even though they were busy.

We would go back.

I would give this spot 6 stars for service alone. I was a bit thrown off from the website expressing "authentic" roman cuisine. The pizza... however tasty was a far cry from al taglio or alla pala I've experienced. The drinks were exceptional. I went during happy hour. I had no idea there was a happy hour going there which was a huge bonus. I brought my kids and they enjoyed it all. I will surely come back and highly reccomend others try it out too.

The ambience is probably what I would go here for again.

There was a gnocchi appetizer the name of which I can't recollect but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. For mains, we ordered the funghi pizza and it was amazing! Perfectly thin and flavorful. For dessert, I would recommend the tiramisu.
