the Gelato was so soft and creamy. I got the mint chocolate and chocolate pistachio. my sister got pistachio and milk chocolate pretzel. she threw away the milk chocolate pretzel but loved the pistachio.
There was a guy cutting the line while we were there. I appreciate the worker calling the guy out and making him go to the back of the line. Thank you.

There are no bad Gelato, especially in NYC. That being said Anita”s Gelatos are super creamy and without doubt abundance of flavors in a great vibey locations around the world. This one @Penn is too good as well after a long tiring work day at Hudson Yards

We were on our way to Times Square on 7th Avenue, and near Madison Square, we saw this gelato shop. Looks fascinating, and there was a line as well (what’s with the line these days..? every shop suddenly becomes famous or what ?)

Anyway, it was a 10-15 minute line outside the shop. We entered and one can see the beautiful décor of this joint. After waiting patiently in line, when it is your turn, you have a dedicated person helping you. And you can taste as many flavors as you want.

Anita Gelato offers a selection of more than 150 different kinds of 100% homemade gelato, sorbet, yogurt, and toppings. We ordered Cheesecake biscuits and pistachio flavor.

Though I can’t say it feels like Italian gelato it was good (better than sugary ice creams).
You can order a small, medium, or large in a cup or a cone. A small comes with two flavors and a large with four, but when you see the small, it is not small. The portion sizes are very generous.

Being a fan of history, I asked and learned that it is a proper gelateria, but it is not Italian. It originates from Israel, by Anita in 1998. What started as an activity to make at home with her son Nir has grown worldwide.

After their gelato became popular among neighbors, they sold from a cart on weekends and then opened their first shop in Tel Aviv in 2002. Today there are four stores in Israel, as well as in Australia, Spain, Puerto Rico, and Cyprus, and now in the USA as well.

Op alle punten scoort Anita goed: bijzondere smaken, goede hoeveelheid. Als ik een puntje van commentaar zou moeten geven: de bakjes waar ze het ijs in proppen zijn klein, waardoor er heel snel ijs uit lekt. Daardoor ben je verplicht heel snel te eten, terwijl je er graag rustig van wilt genieten. Dus dat zou ik als verbeterpunt mee willen geven. Verder echt heel goed!!

Uma sorveteria localizada na West 33 ao lado da Penn Station. Para quem está chegando ou passando pelo local , é uma ótima opção. A sorveteria possui uma variedade de sabores ao gosto do cliente. O atendimento é bom e os sorvetes é de qualidade. O local ainda oferece um lugar dentro da sorveteria para quem queira saborear o sorvete no local . Na parte externa existem locais de descanso em torno da estação. Vale a pena conferir e saborear.

Delicious gelato!!! The small cup with two flavors was a very good amount in my opinion, but my husband went for the big cup with four flavors!! ?

Stopped on our way to a comedy show and pleasantly surprised how good the gelato was. Flavor was excellent and portion size was more than what you would expect in NYC. Service was friendly we got to chat about Italy for a quick minute.
