Creamiest + tastiest ice cream! A little difficult to find because the directions sent us down the side of the shopping center, but it’s right up front. We were greeted & the gentleman was very friendly. He told us to feel free to try as many as we wanted, that was very unexpected & his friendliness was comforting. A must try is the Black Vanilla, the color can be a bit jarring but the taste is heavenly. Honey Cornbread is another unexpectedly delicious flavor. Banana ?Pudding was delightful with a light perfect balance of banana flavor. Even the Strawberry? taste was more enjoyable here compared to other shops. The ingredients tasted real, like real food or fruit was used to make the ice cream. We decided to get two ? two-scoop cones. We saw the regular cones & then saw a few black ones that just looked interesting. We had to get the black cones especially since the shop is called Black+White!
You have to try this place!!!

It’s a tiny hallway for a shop. Tight quarters but don’t let that fool you. There’s a bar section to sit inside and some garden tables outside. The ice cream is full flavored with deliciousness exploding on my tongue. The banana pudding tasted like the banana pudding from my childhood. The lavender tea was flavorful but not overpowering. The black vanilla played with my mind but was yummy. This is all the flavors of my childhood grown up. The black waffle cone was made to order and it was a touch warm when I got it. It was worth every penny. The owner was there sharing information on flavors and answering questions. You can tell he loves his job

Hidden gem! If you like ice cream and are in San Antonio you CANNOT miss this place. You MUST try the Honey Cornbread while you are there. They have a flight option that allows you to sample 6 flavors, I highly recommend!Locally owned and many locally sourced ingredients. Friendly owner / operator. I eat ice cream wherever I go this is one you don't want to miss!

My husband and I ordered a flight and two scoops after dinner. There is a nice variety of flavors, our favorites were circus animal, chocolate Oreo brownie and coffee toffee. The workers were friendly and informative. The store and outdoor seating were clean. We had a great experience and hope to return soon!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for a quick dessert. Service was amazing as he described their ice creams, gave some recommendations, and offered some samples. All we're good, even the typical flavors I wouldn't normally order.

Ordered a few double scoop orders since we liked so many different flavors. Ice cream was very fresh and not overly sweet. Scoops were generous sizes and more than plenty. I'll come back for good ice cream served with good customer service.

The owner absolutely cares about his business and it's so impressive. Not only classic boring flavors but they have few interesting and unique flavors (hot chili oil and cornbread flavor when I visitied). I'm excited to see their other rotating flavors.

Amazing flavors and wonderfully creamy ice cream! We tried the chocolate with brownie, strawberry, banana pudding, and honey and cornbread. My husband devoured the chocolate as he is a through and through chocolate ice cream fan. It was rich but nicely balanced and not too sweet. The strawberry was my favorite and reminded me of the kind of old fashioned ice cream you’d expect from a small town shop. The honey cornbread and banana pudding were also nice with plenty of textural add ins that made this ice cream feel indulgent. We will for sure be back for more!

Southtown Photo Booth

We were at the zoo on a hot day. This place was near us so we thought to check it out with the kiddos. They were so welcoming since we opened the door. They offered us samples of everything they have and took really care of us and the babies. We will be coming back here very soon!
Oh and the ice cream was so delicious!
