Goodies is cakes are amazing. They use natural flavors which some people aren't use to that. Me and my family prefer it.
The down side to this bakery is that they don't have managers on duty during the weekend when their open. Which is fine, but they don't also don't have anyone trained who is manager like on the premises as well. Why is that a big deal?
Well if you have an issue with lets a say $165 custom cake order that cant be avoided like a person getting sick or an accident or whatever. They cant do anything to postpone your order. 1. only managers handle the communication with cake orders and 2. their automated messaging has no way to get through to a person to inform them what is going on.
3. Their cakes can't be frozen without the decor being compromised, which sucks for the person who's event it is.

So inclusion, Goodies is great for over the counter bake goods and the already made cakes. Their decorators are amazing but be wary of when you order goods and know you won't be rembersed if something like this goes wrong.

2nd stop in a few weeks. The selection is overwhelming but amazing. 1st visit I got a few basics, individual lemon merengue, imperial cookie and few macrons. All were great. This visit, a couple cake pops, mini cheese cake, a few cupcakes and a last minute impulse , a lemon merengue pie. Lol cheese cake was great, not I overly sweet, same as the cake pops. Had some lemon merengue tonight, large merengue and lots of filling. Definitely worth the $27/$28 but a little too sweet for my liking. The positive part about that is that I will have to share as I can't eat the whole thing by myself with out initializing early onset diabetes. Cup cakes will have to wait until tomorrow.

Amazing desserts! Ordered delivery of one dozen mini-cakes and they were delicious! Appreciate the possibility to buy such box with different tastes when you don’t know which dessert you want.)

The custom birthday cake I ordered was absolutely beautiful and what I wanted. All of our guess complimented about the cake and how delicious it was especially the chocolate layer! Thank you for making our father’s 90 th birthday special.

The giant strawberry cake was very beautiful! Everything was quick and went on smoothly. Unfortunately, the half or low sugar that I have requested cannot be done and the asst manager had assured me that the cake was already low sugar. It turned out it was not, so that the celebrant and most of the older quests were not able to eat more cake, only a very very small piece because the cake was rather sweet. Maybe next time, suggest to your customer to order the diabetic cake ones? We enjoyed how the cake looked like, very pretty!

Found it to be nothing fancy.

The staff didn't listen and made assumptions, being get inconsiderate. I asked for help to choose between two cakes and instead was told it was too late to order for a birthday 2 days away. I didn't ask about ordering.

Was then told they didn't keep well for days, didn't freeze well, but they could sell me an already frozen cake. I didn't ask about that either.

Due to the lack of the staff actually helping me with my actual issue, I left without a cake and gained a negative impression of the business.

Had she listened, they may have sold a cake and made a positive impression. I'd rather buy from a baker who actually listens to the customer.

Decadent gluten friendly cake. White truffle raspberry, texture was perfect. Frosting was creamy and not too sweet which you often get with gluten free desserts. It was honestly the best store bought gluten friendly (free) cakes I’ve ever had in Winnipeg. Better than competitors. 10/10 recommend and will be going back for all birthdays and special occasions.

Their cake was the highlight of the wedding! Amazing design and absolutely delicious. Stunning really. Highly recommend.
