My local Woolworths, been coming here for a long time the service is okay but some of the times the employees can be a tad bit rude, I am however liking the new set up of the Woolworths it’s much more organised however not well stocked, can’t always find my zero cokes & there’s never any chives in stock sometimes my soy crisps to, only thing I recommend to the store is that they stock better, also can be quite expensive for only a few things but all grocery shops in Australia are expensive unfortunately, overall the store is okay it’s in a good area with local cafes & the lovely market near it just needs to be better stocked so I don’t have to go to Coles.

Woolworths South Melbourne is my go-to for grocery shopping. The store is well-organised, with items clearly displayed and labeled, making it easy to find what you need. The staff are friendly and always available to help. The checkout process is quick and efficient. A big plus is the great variety in their Indian section, which is a bonus since there’s no Indian grocery store nearby. Overall, a great shopping experience every time!

The most frustrating workplace for many Indian students is one where management treats them like servants. They often expect employees to work more than the standard eight hours, which is both annoying and disrespectful.. This kind of attitude creates a toxic atmosphere, making the workplace feel both exhausting and demeaning. Such experiences can leave a lasting negative impression, making it difficult for students to balance their work and studies effectively.

Today I had one of those experiences that has one shaking one’s head in despair at the human race. Witnessed a sizeable group of Woolworth employees who had taken it upon themselves to stand at the entrance of the store to openly mock & discuss one of the more vulnerable members of the community, clearly with mental health issues having an episode where they were in distress. I do not deem myself confrontational nor confident but managed to challenge one of the team members who had walked away momentarily only to then rejoin the group & query whether she didn’t have anything better to do. To her credit she displayed at least a shred of decency, replied yes & returned to stocking the refrigerated area.
I appeal to Woollies & their staff you can do better than this. At the minimum you can do the job you were employed to do and display some degree of humanity by showing some poor soul some dignity & respect.

Normally our local Woolies is good but ive noticed for months that the staff are not stocking the shelves with Coke Zero Sugar. Every day I shop here and the Coke Zero Sugar is not on the shelves. It is an inconvenience as we do our shopping here then have to drive to Coles just to buy Coke.

The customer service at this Woolies outlet is out of this world. Today, Alvin the stock clerk went above and beyond to help me look for a an item that wasn't on the shelf and went outback to get the item for me. This is customer service! Good job! ?
